I have the wanders

There has been a little change of plan...instead of coming home I am going to Japan! A small 12 day addition which will put me back in the states on the 30th instead of today. I had been debating Japan ever since Athens, but just couldn't decide and didn't know if I would have the energy and will after Egypt. As of Saturday evening I made the decision not to go, that I should go home and stop playing around and start looking for a job. But then on Sunday morning, while in the shower, where I do all of my best thinking, I realized that I am not going to be able to travel for a really long time once I get back home, so why not go to Japan now while I have the momentum and some money left. About an hour later I had bought my ticket. It is a lot of travel days, but I think it is well worth it. I have always wanted to go to Japan and am fascinated with their culture. It will be going from one big city to another, and I probably won't want to be in a city for months after these last two legs, but I must go. I had a permagrin all day yesterday after I bought the ticket. Yesterday was also a transit day and I did some serious scurrying through the airport, but I still want to subject myself to the 12 hour flight I have out of Paris. I did say Asia was my next continent, looks like a little piece of it is actually now :)
